Focetria Novartis is a pandemic influenza vaccine for ( H1N1)V.

It Consists of antigen, and adjuvanted vaccines.

It increases response to pandemic influenza.

Focetria Novartis is composed of :

It's a vaccine that was made by Novartis.

The European Union has approved the vaccine for use.

It's a milky white liquid.

It's a suspension for injection.

It contains parts of the flu virus (antigens).

It contains a flu strain H1N1 virus NYMC X-181.

1- active substance:

Influenza virus surface antigens of strain/ California /07/2009(H1N1)- derived strain used NYMC X -181 7.5 micrograms per. 5 ml dose.

It contains an adjuvant to stimulate a response.

It's an oil/ water emulsion.

3- other ingredients :

Sodium chloride.

Potassium chloride

Potassium.      

Dehydrogenase phosphate.

 Disodium phosphate dihydrate.

  Magnesium chloride hexahydrate.

Calcium chloride dihydrate.

Citric acid.

Sodium citrate.

 Water for injection.

It gives us protection against the flu.

 it Works against the H1N1 virus strain.

Ways of using focetria Novartis vaccine :

It is given as one dose. 5 ml of vaccine, and it may be sufficient according to clinical data.

Injected in shoulder muscles or thigh.

The body works as a defender for the virus, when you inject with the focetria Novartis vaccine your immune system recognizes it as a foreign body, then realizes antibodies against the virus after that if the body exposes to the virus again it will be able to fast produce antibodies.

3-  Allergic reactions such as wheezing, swelling of the throat, shortness of breath, or may cause a decrease in blood pressure.

These side effects may remain for two days if it increases more than them you should see your doctors.

 focetria Novartis vaccine shouldn't be given to patients who suffer from severe allergic reactions to any of the contents of the vaccine and its substance which is found in small amounts such as egg, chicken protein, kanamycin, neomycin, formaldehyde, cetyltrimethylammonium bromide, and ovalbumin.
