This study sought to find out the impact of health awareness programs on the behavioral style of older people in rural areas - the role of Nursing in providing education and training.the study used a mixed approach between the qualitative and quantitative approach, which relied mainly on personal interviews and a questionnaire developed depending on the characteristics of the sample. the study community may be from all older people in the al-Jafr area in the city of Ma'an in Jordan, whose health conditions and behaviors are varied. a sample of 25 individuals was selected in an intentional way. The results of the study showed that the overall average impact of health awareness programs on the behavioral style of older people in rural areas - the role of Nursing in providing education and training in the al-Jafr area of Ma'an city was at an average level, followed by the "effectiveness of health awareness programs" with the highest arithmetic average and at an average level, followed by the "role of Nursing in providing education and training" at an average level, and finally came after the "challenges and opportunities in the implementation of programs" and at an average level. The study recommended several recommendations, the most important of which are: organizing awareness campaigns aimed at teaching families how to support their elderly members in following health advice, these campaigns can include workshops for families and providing educational resources that help them understand how to provide effective health support.
