Abstract

Aspirin is an old drug and the most widely used drug for relieving pain and reducing inflammation. Also, it has anticoagulant effect and is used as antithrombotic agent for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. According to the role of aspirin in reducing the inflammation by inhibiting COX enzymes and blood clotting by inhibiting COX 1enzyme, some researches were performed to study the effect of aspirin in preventing the human cancer, these studies revealed that aspirin may prevent a variety of human cancer and a regular use of aspirin may reduce the cancer risk. This scientific research will focus on the anti-inflammatory and antiplatelet properties of aspirin and to what extent these therapeutic effects of aspirin can be used to stop the spread of cancer cells in the body during an initial tumor that has already formed. So this study will indicate how a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDs) as aspirin can work to prevent the cancer and its effectiveness in the treatment of cancer. Also, it will analyze the mechanism of the anticancer therapeutic effect of aspirin and its metabolites. It is the time to use aspirin in the treatment of varieties human cancer
