This descriptive and qualitative paper aims to analyze the stylistic devices to highlight the cultural identity for immigrant literature taking Mornings in Jenin by Susan Abulhawa as a case study. The main purpose for this research is to highlight the role of Palestinian cultural identity in shaping the characters' identities and how this appears in the narrative throughout the narrative style, tone and voice, the use of figurative language, and the lexical language and connotations. The research question is answered to demonstrate the stylistic elements that Abulhawa uses in her narrative to shed light on the cultural identity pre and post Nakba. The findings of the research suggest that the cultural identity is woven throughout the stylistic devices that Abulhawa provides in her narrative. The cultural identity, even though it's not directly stated, but it has a direct effect on the characters' lives that appears through the themes and stylistic analysis.
