This study examined the economic and social effects of organ donation and transplantation programs in Saudi Arabia through a quantitative and descriptive-analytical research. A structured questionnaire was used in gathering data of 526 healthcare and administration professionals. The results obtained showed a high level of consensus between the respondents that organ donation programs help in reducing the cost of healthcare, enhance patient productivity, lower financial pressure, and boost the economy of countries. Government support, awareness campaigns, developing infrastructure and investing in research were found as the major forces of success and sustainability of the program. The participants stressed that the targeted education and cooperation with local and religious leaders could help to improve the donor registration and participation. The study also emphasized the opportunities of such programs to capture medical tourism, upscale health care facilities, and support economic objectives of Vision 2030. It is suggested to hold awareness campaigns continuously, provide ethical incentives to donors, modernize the transplantation centers, and help to keep governmental support sustained. The study indicates that the organ transplantation programs are not only vital in individual health but also as long-range investments in the development of the nation, which explains the significance of combined medical, social, and economic interventions to make the Saudi Arabia country a leader in healthcare innovation
