This study aims to analyse the methods of sharing agricultural water and the traditional practices established by the ancient oasis people so that oasis agriculture can survive to the present day. Agricultural water management is carried out with the strictest respect on the part of everyone who bears the name of the “water tower”. It is a mathematical, complex, fair and rigorous method of calculation. The former oasis farmers have established a system of solidarity allowing the most deprived to have free irrigation water on the plot during periods known and counted for self-sufficiency. The agricultural water trade in the traditional agricultural space is as old as the modes of sharing.
