Magnesium deficiency As risk factor of chronic kidney failure

Nasreen Kader Kamel
Abstract

Chronic kidney failure is most healthy problem in Kirkuk city for the elderly people ;there is highly infection forthcoming to free radicals theory ,when the aging presented during damage of Reactive nitrogen species(RNS)  to the lipid membrane lead to peroxidation of cells in renal tubule will be under lacking of electrolytes ,such as magnesium, and impairment renal  functions. The aim: of the study for diagnosis lipid peroxidation MDA as most risk factors for chronic kidney failure  under lacking of magnesium, due to lead to reductions of antioxidant actions.  Methods: The study included 50 chronic renal failure patients  and 50 control healthy subjects, age ranged between(15 75years) for all subjects and the study done for period January to March 2018 at Kirkuk city In General kirkuk  hospital . Results: Serum malondialdehyde(MDA) ,creatinine was significantly increased in renal patient  compared with control groups ,while creatinine, magnesium ,phosphate and calcium significantly decreased in young ,middle and induced elderly patients, have been negative correlation with MDA serum lead to increased risk factors of renal infection in elderly people. concluded : The magnesium deficiency enhanced oxidative damaged in renal tubule and depletion of antioxidants in aging population lead to increased renal defects
