Les soft skills dans l’enseignement supérieur au Maroc

Hind El Baz
الملخص

Now a day, the modernisation of the higher education system requires the training of competent and highly qualified specialists. Soft skills (non-technical skills) are becoming a competitive advantage in the labour market. Employers point to the unsatisfactory level of interpersonal, communication and analytical skills of graduates. Graduates must be competitive in the labour market, master the practical skills of their profession and be prepared to work at the level of global standards. In order to achieve this objective, an internal balance is necessary, the graduate must acquire, in addition to professional skills, a set of supra-professional skills, called "soft skills" and be able to engage in productive professional activity.

As a result, educational reforms in market economies are being actively pursued to include a methodological system for the training of "soft skills" as a significant reference in bachelor and master's degree programmes.

Morocco, like other countries in the world, with a booming market economy, faces the challenge of developing an education policy adapted to the new realities. The article presents an overview of the teaching of soft skills, in order to understand the extent of their current integration into world and Moroccan university faculties in particular.
